Regulatory updates
On 30 May 2024, Sønderjysk Forsikring G/S transferred all activities and liabilities to a newly established operating company, Forsia Forsikring A/S, while Sønderjysk Forsikring was converted into an association, Forsia Foreningen f.m.b.a., which owns 100% of the share capital; the conversion and name change required approval from Finanstilsynet under the Danish Insurance Business Act. Later in 2024, Forsia acquired the private customer portfolio of ETU Forsikring (approx. DKK 130m in assets and 26 employees), subject to Finanstilsynet approval, after ETU's solvency coverage had fallen below the legal requirement. From the start of 2026, Forsia expanded its product range with ejerskifteforsikring (home buyer's insurance) and sælgeransvarsforsikring (seller's liability insurance).
