Regulatory updates
In May 2022, Finanstilsynet issued an order to Lokal Forsikring G/S because its election scheme for delegates to the delegate assembly did not comply with §111(2) of the Danish Financial Business Act and the company's own articles of association; the order required the company to bring its election rules for choosing delegates into compliance. Earlier, following a 2013 inspection, Finanstilsynet noted that the company's investment and insurance results had been positive since the financial crisis and issued an order on setting risk targets for investment asset classes; a 2016 inspection found the company's capital adequate with a solvency ratio of 170% at the end of 2016, though the company was again ordered to revise its investment policy and guidelines and its rules on registered assets.
