In February 2024 Wáberer Hungária Biztosító Zrt. was rebranded as Gránit Biztosító Zrt. following a strategic cooperation agreement with Gránit Bank, which granted use of the Gránit brand name. The company remains a full member of the Hungarian Insurance Association (MABISZ) and is supervised by the MNB. Since mid-2024/2026 the Waberer's Group (via Gránit Biztosító) has been expanding through the acquisition of Magyar Posta Biztosító Zrt. and a majority stake in Magyar Posta Életbiztosító Zrt., significantly increasing its market presence.
