Regulatory updates
IVASS Regulation No. 56/2025 (effective April 8, 2025) introduced updated rules on insurance certificates and accident report forms for motor vehicles and watercraft. In March 2024, IVASS authorised the partial demerger of Genertellife S.p.A. in favour of Generali Italia S.p.A., Alleanza Assicurazioni S.p.A. and Genertel S.p.A. (effective July 1, 2024). In 2023, IVASS authorised the merger by incorporation of Generali Business Solutions S.p.A. into Generali Italia S.p.A. IVASS also authorised Delfin S.à.r.l. to hold a qualifying stake in Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. (June 2023). Generali Italia is registered in the IVASS Register of Insurance Companies under no. 1.00021.
