Sava osiguranje, d.d. - Croatian Branch operates in Croatia under supervision of HANFA, which regulates the insurance market and licensing of insurance undertakings in the country. The Croatian branch was registered in the Zagreb Commercial Court register in May 2016, following the cross-border merger that created Sava osiguranje from four European insurers; in 2019 it absorbed the business of Ergo Hrvatska, strengthening its market position as the second largest insurer in the Sava Insurance Group region. No specific enforcement actions or sanctions against the Croatian branch were found in recent HANFA publications; the parent Sava Insurance Group continues to report regular half-year and annual results.
