Regulatory updates
Finanstilsynet conducted an ordinary inspection of Vejle Brand in June 2021 (report published February 2022), covering the company's business model, outsourcing, reinsurance, provisions, investments, solvency capital requirement calculation, capital plan and governance. The authority ordered the company to improve its compliance function's risk-based planning, ensure the independence of its risk-management function from the managing director's other roles, and strengthen the methodological basis of its internal audit plan. Vejle Brand had previously been reprimanded by Finanstilsynet in 2012 for errors in its 2011 half-year report. As of the company's own disclosures, there are currently no ongoing inspections.
