Regulatory updates
As a licensed German insurer, ADAC Versicherung AG is supervised by BaFin. Recent BaFin filings show that in March 2025 ADAC Versicherung AG discontinued its direct cross-border insurance business in Liechtenstein under freedom of services. Separately, in June 2024 BaFin granted a new license to ADAC Zuhause Versicherung AG (a joint venture in which Allianz Versicherungs-AG holds 51% and ADAC Versicherung AG 49%) to write fire, natural hazard and assistance business, enabling the launch of the ADAC Zuhause-Schutzbrief and home contents products.
