If's Lithuanian branch (If P&C Insurance AS filialas) is registered with the Bank of Lithuania as a branch of an EU/EEA insurance undertaking established in Lithuania. More broadly, the Lithuanian insurance market is undergoing regulatory change: from 1 January 2026 a new 10% "security contribution" applies to most non-life insurance premiums (home, casco, travel, health), with exemptions for compulsory motor liability insurance for individuals and crop insurance, and the Bank of Lithuania has tightened requirements for distributors of investment life insurance (IGD) products effective 1 January 2026.
